We were challenged to bring a more iconic and new style of pharmacy to the local market while keeping the architectural language of the adjoining property intact.  Matching the buildings on the adjacent property, the continued use of brick and warm & inviting materials are used throughout the design both internal and exterior. The owner wished to incorporate a place where the community would want to come, even in times of wellness, and experience happy vibes rather than feelings of sickness.  The addition of the state of the art frozen yogurt bar draws crowds from the local city and neighboring towns and inspires healthier choices for snacks, treats, and small celebrations. With a fun filled atmosphere and options of indoor and outdoor dining, the frozen yogurt bar, offering a variety of yogurt flavors and over 15 choices for toppings, is a popular after school and weekend hangout. It also offers a soothing treat for a sick child and helps make the time waiting on a prescription seemingly pass quickly.  Aesthetically, low slung arches embellish the double height barrel vaulted ceiling leading to clearstories for natural lighting to flood the interiors. A featured water wall situated behind the drop off and pick up counters offers soothing sounds and a calming ambiance while customers wait for prescriptions to be filled. The modern pharmacy employs the use of robotic dispensing in addition to a full staff of pharmacists and technicians.  Also, it incorporates a small compounding station, two drive-thru lanes, consulting and vaccination room, private office for pharmacists, and employee break room. The sophisticated gift shop offers a selection of gifts appropriate for all occasions and ages uniquely displayed and arranged to catch the public eye.  Customer parking is offered in the front and side of the building with employee parking conveniently located behind the building by the employee and delivery entry.
