Biggersville Fire Station

This small town is all about community endeavors. They wanted not only a well-functioning fire station, but also to communicate that the municipal fires station is one of civic pride. Artistic expression indicates two interlocking buildings to replicate humans interacting with equipment. This monumental design shows no visible entries or windows from public access and displays to the people only a natural gas flame that symbolizes that firefighters are always on duty to protect and serve.  This fire station has two engine bay rooms with 20ft side walls and custom exhaust. It has accommodations for the fire fighters including a kitchen, indoor/outdoor dining areas, common area, and sleeping quarters. This design also incorporates a public training room for teaching emergency disaster readiness.
